WB NEET PG 2026 Round 1 Merit List Out: Choice Filling & Locking Underway at wbmcc.nic.in

Understanding the timeline is critical for a smooth counselling process. Here are the essential dates for WB NEET PG 2026 Round 1:

Candidates whose names appear on the provisional merit list must follow these steps to submit their preferences:

• Visit the official WBMCC website: wbmcc.nic.in.
• Log in using your registered credentials.
• Navigate to the 'Choice Filling' section.
• Carefully select your preferred colleges and courses in order of priority. Consider using the NEET College Predictor to assess your admission chances based on your NEET PG score and rank.
• Review your choices thoroughly before saving.
• Crucially, 'Lock' your choices before the deadline of November 1, 2026 (12:00 midnight). Unlocked choices will not be considered for seat allotment.
• Log out safely after locking your preferences to avoid any session-related issues.

Remember, once choices are locked, they cannot be modified. Make sure your selections reflect your true preferences.

Only specific candidates are eligible to participate in the WB NEET PG 2026 Round 1 seat allotment process:

• Candidates whose names are present in the officially released Round 1 provisional merit list.
• Those who have successfully completed their document verification and registration on the WBMCC portal prior to this stage.

The seat matrix, also released by WBMCC, provides details on available seats across Government, Government-aided, and private medical colleges in West Bengal.

Following the declaration of the Round 1 provisional seat allotment result on November 4, 2026, allotted candidates must take immediate action. It is mandatory to report to the designated college on the specified dates: November 4, 5, 6, or 10, 2026.

During reporting, candidates will undergo document verification and complete the admission formalities. Failure to report within this stipulated window will result in the forfeiture of the allotted seat, and the candidate may be excluded from subsequent counselling rounds.
