Verifying your state merit position is straightforward. Follow these steps on the official portal:

• Visit the official UP NEET PG counselling portal: upneet.gov.in.

• Click on the link and log in using your registration credentials (NEET PG Roll Number, password, etc.).

Choice filling is the most critical step after the merit list release. This is where you indicate your preferred colleges and courses. Take your time to research and prioritize your options. Candidates must meticulously lock their choices on the portal before the October 30, 2026, 5:00 PM deadline. Once choices are locked, they cannot be changed. DGME will announce the Round 1 seat allotment result on November 2, 2026. If you are allotted a seat, you must download your allotment letter from the portal. Subsequently, report to the allotted college within the specified admission dates (November 3-7, 2026, or November 12-13, 2026) with all necessary documents for verification and admission completion. To strategically plan your choices and understand your admission chances, consider using MatchToCollege's NEET College Predictor. This tool can help you identify the best MBBS and BDS medical colleges for your NEET score or rank across All India Quota (AIQ) and State Quota, guiding your choice filling decisions.

While the official list of documents will be detailed in your allotment letter, it's wise to prepare a checklist of commonly required documents for PG medical admissions. Having these ready will streamline your reporting process:
