MP NEET UG 2026 Mop-Up Round: Revised Merit List Released, Choice Filling Starts October 4

The DME Madhya Pradesh has outlined a clear schedule for the MP NEET UG 2026 Mop-Up Round. Candidates must adhere to these dates to ensure their participation in the counselling process.

The MP NEET UG 2026 Mop-Up Round is designed to fill remaining MBBS and BDS seats. Eligibility for participation is specific:

• Candidates who are registered for MP state NEET UG 2026 counselling.
• Students who did not participate in the previous counselling rounds (Round 1 or Round 2).
• Candidates who were allotted a seat in earlier rounds but did not join the college, subject to DME Madhya Pradesh norms.
• Only candidates whose names are featured in the recently released revised merit list are eligible to fill choices.

It is crucial for all aspirants to verify their eligibility status on the official portal before proceeding with choice filling.

Accessing the revised merit list is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to download the PDF and verify your eligibility:

Ensure you download and save a copy for your records.

The choice filling process for the Mop-Up Round requires careful attention. Candidates must be aware of these critical points:

• Fresh Preferences Mandatory: Choices submitted in any previous counselling rounds (Round 1 or Round 2) will NOT be carried forward. Every participating candidate MUST fill fresh preferences for the Mop-Up Round.
• Review Options Carefully: Before locking your choices, thoroughly review the available colleges and courses. Consider factors like college reputation, fee structure, location, and your NEET score.
• Locking Choices: Once satisfied with your preferences, ensure you lock your choices within the stipulated deadline (October 7, 2026, till 11:59 PM). Unlocked choices will not be considered for seat allotment.

This is your final opportunity to secure a seat, so approach choice filling with utmost diligence.

After successfully filling and locking your choices, the next phase involves waiting for the seat allotment result and subsequent reporting.

• Seat Allotment Result: The Mop-Up Round seat allotment result is scheduled for October 10, 2026. Keep an eye on the official portal for this announcement.
• Reporting to Allotted College: If you are allotted a seat, you must report to the respective college between October 11 and October 14, 2026 (till 6 PM). Ensure you have all necessary documents ready for verification.
• Document Verification: During reporting, all original documents will be verified. Any discrepancy could lead to the cancellation of your admission.

Stay updated by regularly checking the official DME Madhya Pradesh website for any further announcements or changes.
